Why trust a site that hasn’t tested anything?

Because we don’t pretend otherwise. Every “we tested twelve antennas” roundup says the same thing and can’t prove it — and an antenna test in someone else’s city tells you nothing about your address anyway. Here is what we actually do: compile the published specs, quote range claims as the manufacturer’s claims, point you at the FCC’s own reception map for your street, and total the monthly fees. All of it is checkable.

How to cut the cord, in the right order

Most people cancel first and then discover what they lost. Do it the other way round: check what your address can receive over the air, get the antenna and the stick working alongside the cable box, confirm the two or three things you actually watch still exist — then cancel, and return the equipment properly.
