Privacy Policy

What we collect, why, and what we don't do with it. The short version: we don't sell your personal information.

This policy explains how Stick & Signal (“we”), published by Type 5 Marketing LLC, handles information when you visit stickandsignal.com. We’ve tried to write it in plain English.

Information we collect

  • Analytics data.We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and how people find us. It collects standard, largely anonymized data — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived. We use it in aggregate; we don’t use it to identify you personally.
  • Contact form data. If you use our contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you submit. We use it only to read and reply to your message.
  • Affiliate click data. When you click a product link, our analytics may record that a click happened (and to which retailer) so we can see which content is useful. The retailer you land on has its own privacy policy that governs what happens after you leave our site.

Cookies and tracking

Google Analytics sets cookies to measure usage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and most browsers offer a “do not track” option; the site works fine without analytics cookies. Affiliate programs, including Amazon Associates, may use cookies to attribute a purchase to a referring link — that is how the commission that funds this site is credited.

How we use information

  • To operate and improve the site and its content.
  • To respond to messages you send us.
  • To understand, in aggregate, what readers find useful.

We do not sell your personal information, and we don’t share it except with the service providers that make the site work (our analytics and email providers) or where required by law.

Third-party services

We rely on a few third parties whose own privacy policies apply: Google (Analytics), Microsoft (which delivers our contact-form email), our hosting provider, and the retailers we link to (primarily Amazon). Following a link to a retailer takes you onto their site, subject to their privacy practices, not ours.

Your choices

  • Block or clear cookies in your browser.
  • Use a browser or extension that limits analytics.
  • Ask us to delete a message you sent through the contact form — email info@stickandsignal.com.

Children

This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.
