Affiliate disclosure

How We Make Money

The plain-English version: some links here are affiliate links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you, and it never changes what we recommend.

Stick & Signalis free to read. We keep it that way with affiliate links. When you click a “View on Amazon” or “Check price” button and go on to buy something, we may earn a small commission — and it costs you nothing extra. That’s the whole model.

The Amazon Associates statement

Stick & Signal is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Amazon and the Amazon logo are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates.

How our links work

  • Every product link routes through a simple redirect on our own domain and then to the retailer. Earning links carry the standard rel="sponsored" attribute, per Google’s guidelines.
  • Prices come from the retailer and change often. We show a live, dated price wherever we can, and “Check price on Amazon” when we can’t — we never display a stale or made-up number.
  • We’re currently an Amazon-first site. If we ever add a brand-direct or other affiliate program, we’ll only recommend it when it’s genuinely better for you, and this page will reflect it.

What commissions do NOT change

They do not change our rankings. Our picks are chosen on renter fit — reversibility, no-fee recording, real total cost — using the process on our methodology page. When a cheaper product that pays us less is the better buy, it’s still the pick. When we’d skip a product, we say so, even if it earns well. If that ever stopped being true, the site wouldn’t be worth reading — so it won’t.
