Outdoor is where a renter’s options usually fall apart. How to choose an outdoor camera for a rental

Work through it in the order that actually constrains a renter. Power comes first: with rare exceptions there’s no outdoor outlet, so you want a battery camera like the Blink Outdoor 4 (up to two years on AA cells) or a solar one like the eufy SoloCam that tops itself up and never needs a cord. If you do have a covered spot near a window you can run a short cable through, a cheap wired camera like the Tapo C120 or a Wyze Cam v4 under an eave can work — just keep them out of direct rain.
