Work through three questions. First, where does it go?Indoors, a camera that stands on a shelf or a magnetic base needs no mounting at all — the most reversible option there is. Outdoors, you want battery or solar power so there’s no wiring, on a bracket you can adhesive-mount rather than screw into brick. Second, how does it record? Prioritize local storage: a microSD slot (Wyze, Tapo, eufy) or a Sync Module (Blink) keeps your footage on-site with no monthly fee. Third, what resolution and coverage do you need? 2K is plenty to read a face; a pan-and-tilt camera covers a whole room from one spot, which is ideal in a studio.
